Singer, instrumentalists and composer: Jose Carrera has been a pioneer of Latin Music in the Twin Cities since 1979 when he began by helping to create the first Salsa/Caribbean band in town: “Sabroson Orchestra.” In the year 1990, he moved on to create “The Latin Sounds Orchestra,” a 12 piece band. That allowed him to receive the Minnesota Musical Award for “Best Latin Group” for three years in a row.
Playing at the Quest on alternate Wednesdays, Sundays at the Lucrat, Bablu’s, Arizona’s, Nochees and many corporate and community festivals. Enjoy the beautiful singing, the dancing and all the exciting Latin sounds.
