Well hello! I'm Meagan, and I've been a photographer in the Twin Cities for the past six years. I love the idea of telling stories through photos and the thought of preserving memories with the click of a shutter. I believe that life is beautiful and everybody has a story waiting to be told. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to believe I get to actually make a living by helping to tell those stories. I love the photojournalistic aspect of shooting a wedding. There are so many little stories happening within the bigger story - your dad's face when he sees you in your dress, your bridesmaids tearing up while you say your vows, your grandparents dancing together - each of these moments deserve to be captured.
I graduated from Thomas Edison State College in 2012 with a BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on journalism and communications. I studied photography with the Institute of Photographic Studies from 2010-2012.
When not behind the camera, I can usually be found playing games with my family, mixing something up in the kitchen, going on runs, or sipping coffee with friends. I'm a dreamer and an adventurer and I love exploring new places. Some of my favorite destinations include London England, Bayeux France, Chiang Rai Thailand, and Otavalo Ecuador.
