ENGAGEMENT SESSION

An engagement session is a great time to get to know your photographer and to get a feel for having your picture taken. The more comfortable you are in front of the camera, the more natural your wedding photos will look.

Your engagement session will take approximately one hour at the location of your choice. Many couples choose a spot that is special to them, like where he proposed. Don't know any good locations? Your photographer will have plenty of recommendations for you. Some popular locations include: Como Conservatory in St. Paul, the St. Anthony Main/Stone Arch Bridge area, and the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis.

The session will be an informal shoot and most couples prefer to wear casual clothes. Pick clothes you feel comfortable in and dress for your location - if you are taking photos at Rice Park during the winter, make sure you have a coat!

All of your engagement pictures will go online and you will receive a CD of negatives. Engagement pictures are great to use for Save The Date cards, newspaper announcements, holiday cards and more.


TRASH THE DRESS

Looking for something to do with your wedding dress after your big day? Consider a Trash the Dress session with your photographer. Anything goes at a Trash the Dress session - get dirty, get wet, start your dress on fire, we don't care. The Trash the Dress session is an hour long photo shoot at the location of your choice. You will receive a CD of all images approximately four to six weeks after your shoot.
