  • Accommodates guests' requests (add anything you don’t want to be played to our “Do Not Play” list!)
  • We’ll purchase any songs you want to be played if they’re not part of our library
• DJ arrives 90 minutes prior to guest arrival, plays until reception ends
• Coordinates activities with your venue and vendors

Like many people, my memories are alive with music associations. Some of my favorites growing up are singing along to Stevie Wonder in the car with my mom or discovering Led Zeppelin for the first time amid my aunt's massive vinyl collection. In my teenage years, I expanded into hip hop, alternative, early punk & new wave, underground industrial, metal, & classical. A Twin Cities native, I've spent much of my college and adult life in Colorado and California's SF Bay Area where I discovered electronica/house, indie, afro & Latin jazz, instrumental funk, and bluegrass- not to mention world folk music, & international lounge. Essentially, I'm a life-long, shameless music geek. :) Being a DJ constantly expands my perspectives, and I've come to include country music genres as well. If you're simply passionate about music, have special traditions or back-rounds you'd like to include, or go beyond the mainstream in your tastes, I'm happy to work with you! I have an amazing opportunity to grow as a DJ while I help you prepare for your event. In my spare time, you might find me out for a run, writing music on the guitar, playing volleyball, practicing yoga, traveling, crashing an art opening, doing something ridiculous with my nieces & nephews, or sharing new ideas to stay inspired. I'd say a core value in my life is seeking understanding & new perspectives: all the while giving what I can to bring out the best in people. Currently, I'm finishing up a graduate program on my way to becoming a licensed acupuncturist. DJing has become a great way to connect with people using music.
