I am so glad we went with Derek C as our DJ for the wedding!! He was great from start to finish! Our call with him a few weeks before the wedding was super chill and smooth, he was intentional to get all the details about our wedding but kept things flexible so he could adjust as needed based on our preferences and how the night was going. He did an amazing job at our ceremony and throughout the night. He not only killed it from the music standpoint, but queued things flawlessly as well. He is super nice and down to earth - really prioritized our goals for how we wanted the wedding to feel. I was worried about DJ’s in general being too loud on the mic or prompting some weird dance but Derek would NEVER! 10/10 would recommend!

Our Photographer, Laura and her partner, Amy, were absolute perfection. They were so kind, made us feel comfortable, and made sure we took breaks when needed. We hired Derek C to be our DJ through Bellagala, and we are so glad we did. It is easy to book online and use the portal. I think the portal on the client side could be a little better and more functional, but that's very minor. Once we had a chat with Derek before our wedding, I felt like we were on the same page and I ended up sending him Spotify playlists we had that helped flesh out our music tastes and expectations. Everything he played all night was spot-on. All songs played were exactly what we wanted and had envisioned! We got so many compliments on the dance part of the evening, and we were so so happy with how Derek assisted with the flow of events, made necessary announcements, and eased any stress or concerns we had. He absolutely knocked it out of the park and we feel validated in our decision to choose him. We highly, highly recommend working with Derek!

Derek was absolutely incredible! I created a playlist of songs that I only wanted played if I was already on the dance floor as I didn’t want to miss them. Derek was so observant and immediately played them upon noticing me on the dance floor! He was so personable and kind and the dance floor was honestly never empty. Shout out to our vendors from Bellagala! Day of coordinator - Meredith Meyer, DJ - Derek Curley, Videographer - Jacob Kelso, Wedding date - 9/30/23. These people were top notch. I couldn’t have done it without Meredith. She was so organized and I knew I was in good hands within 5 minutes of our first phone call. She kept the day going smoothly and the day was perfect. Even though she totally didn’t have to, she helped me and answered many questions that I would throw out there via email many times leading up to the day. She always got back super quickly. Derek was the best DJ - you can tell he is super experienced and knows what he is doing. The communication leading up to the day was great and he made sure to let me know multiple times to call or text him ANYTIME I needed anything or if I had any questions leading up to the day. He kept a lot of people on the dancefloor for us! That speaks for itself. He was also super organized and great at facilitating our grand entrance, speeches, and first dance.Jacob Kelso - the patience this guy has is amazing and he is SO kind. He had great communication leading up to the day and was really helpful in making sure we could get all the important shots within our time frame together. He made sure to learn what is most important to us and made it happen. When we weren’t able to get certain shots, he made sure to work with us in “reenacting” certain scenarios so he can still make video out of it and no one would know the difference. We fell behind on schedule, and always had trouble keeping people on track but he never was phased and always so patient with us. Thank you all so much for being part of our day, it was truly special because of you! ❤️

Our DJ we hired from Bellagala was incredible. Derek was responsive to texts and emails regarding our wedding. He set up a phone call a few days before the wedding to confirm final details and make sure our day was perfect. The day of the wedding Derek went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was smooth and all of our requested music was played. Unfortunately we also had some family issues, but Derek handled it professionally and took care of the issues so we didn’t have to worry about it. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, professional DJ to be a part of their wedding. 10/10 stars

We hired Bellagala for our DJ service for our wedding. When I say Derek and Zac were the best decision we made for our wedding, I truly mean it. Derek offered advice throughout the planning process and seemed genuinely excited to be a part of our day. Zac was newer to the industry, but we wouldn't have ever guessed it. He seemed just as comfortable behind the booth as Derek. As a team they read the room for when people wanted to mingle vs when they wanted to get down on the dance floor. They helped make announcements, coordinated with other vendors, dismissed tables, and went with the flow throughout the day. They were inviting to our guests when they made suggestions (ever when we asked them to play Cyclone by T Pain and Baby Bash for the fourth time). They helped make our wedding one that will go down in history (I'm not biased or anything). Book with Bellagala and pay the extra money to request Derek or Zac, it's worth it.

It was a treat to get to work with Bellagala, and more specifically, Derek C! As a very anxious bride-to-be, it was unbelievably reassuring for my fiancé and I to run through everything with Derek, who is incredibly chill and laidback, meanwhile very responsive and detailed. He made us feel completely at ease about everything, and I felt 100% confident I could put the night in his hands and not have to worry. And that proved to be true. We sprang a few last-minute details on him, and he executed them quickly and flawlessly. We had a number of guests approach us with how awesome the music was and how much they liked Derek. And if anyone’s still not convinced, we had at minimum 40 people swaying to Piano Man when the night concluded at midnight!!! We could not have dreamed up a better reception. Thanks, Derek!
