We told him the types of music we both like, and he sprinkled them together flawlessly while also adding in the classics to keep the dancefloor busy all night! The Van Dusen seems like a difficult venue for a DJ as they have to move to many different rooms through the night, but Shane executed flawlessly and was the kindest and easiest person to work with!

I can’t say enough good things about Bellagala! We booked our photographer, DJ, Florist, Videographer and Photo Booth and each person was so great to work with! The sales team, Gregory and Gabby were also so helpful in answering any questions and gave the best recommendations! Our first photographer unexpectedly had to get foot surgery, so we had to get a new photographer 2 months before the wedding and Bellagala handled it very professionally. They recommended new photographers for us and we ended up going with Angela H and we are so glad we did! She was amazing! We never met her until our wedding day and she made us feel so comfortable and captured our wedding day perfect. Shane was our DJ and he was very communicative from the very beginning and had our guests on the dance floor all night! Guy was our videographer and he also did a great job of making us feel comfortable and making sure he got on video our most special moments. Lesley was our florist and she took my wedding vision and brought it to life. My flowers were perfect! I cannot recommend Bellagala enough! It was so helpful all of our vendors worked together before and were familiar with our wedding venue. I felt so confident going into the wedding day and I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding because of the Bellagala vendors/team!

He made us super comfortable, was great about using our correct pronouns, and was super excited about DJing a gay wedding which is always great to hear! Shane was super on board with our music choices, and went out of his way to create a playlist for the cocktail hour of instrumentals of our chosen songs. With the ceremony, he looped our song exactly how we wanted, and he worked with us to find the exact place to start our recessional song for maximum excitement! He also loved our inside joke about including Mambo Italiano, and went out of his way to find other covers of the song and sneak them in throughout the entire night. Overall, super fun guy, really easy to work with- 10/10 would recommend!

I was really worried about our DJ during the planning process. Shane quickly settled my nerves. He listed to us and acted accordingly. During the day of he kept everything moving along and my guest loved him and had so much fun. Great value and service for the price. I would recommend him. The only suggestion I could have given is that my guests requested a lot of slow songs and he catered to that (which we told him to take requests, but if they were dumb ones to not play them). We hired Bellagala for our DJ services for our wedding in April. Our DJ, Shane J. was amazing to work with! He communicated with us throughout the whole process, offering suggestions and themes that he’s seen from previous weddings as we were planning. On the day of the wedding, he showed up early and helped us coordinate a dry run with our music for the ceremony and got the officiant mic’d up and tested the microphone with him. Shane Johnson was an AMAZING DJ. I can't recommend him enough. We booked him through Bellagala for our NYE wedding at A'bulae in Saint Paul, MN. Not only was he receptive to our song requests and the requests of our guest, he played the music at the right time. He made sure all were dancing and having fun. He made it a priority to meet with us in advance and ensure the ceremony music was set and the officiant had all the technology he needed.
