We had multiple planning meetings with Andrea leading up to our wedding, and each time we were reassured that everything would be aligned and executed exactly as discussed. We were also incorporating a live violinist, and while she initially seemed less than thrilled about that, she later told us she was excited and even shared that her mentor had worked with the same violinist before. This gave us confidence that everything would come together smoothly.
Even on the day of the wedding, she came to the bridal suite and again reassured us that everything was set and would go as planned. Unfortunately, once the wedding began, that was not the case.
Months prior, I created both a playlist and a very detailed “do not play” list—nearly 60 songs total. Not a single song from our playlist was played during the reception.
There were also several key moments that were missed or handled incorrectly. She failed to announce the blessing before the meal, which we had clearly communicated as important to us. She also approached my mother-in-law and told her she would be giving a speech—something that had been explicitly discussed in multiple meetings as NOT happening.
During the ceremony and reception, there were noticeable timing and coordination issues, and it became clear there was a lack of collaboration with our live violinist, despite prior assurances.
When it came time for dancing, the energy completely fell flat. The music selection did not reflect what we had requested, the dance floor remained mostly empty, and songs continued to be played that guests were not engaging with.
The most disappointing and inappropriate moment came when she initiated an unsolicited “Magic Mike”-style interaction, placing a chair on the dance floor and attempting to have my husband perform a strip-tease. We had been very clear that we did NOT want any games or spotlight dances like that. This was not only uncomfortable, but completely disregarded our wishes and boundaries.
Overall, while the planning process gave us confidence, the execution on the wedding day did not reflect what was discussed. Many of our requests were overlooked or ignored, and the experience was disappointing for both us and our guests.
We are incredibly grateful for our violinist, who truly helped carry the music portion of the day.
Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not recommend Andrea.

Andrea was the DJ for our wedding and we could not have been happier with her! She was so professional, fun, and great with communication. She touched base with our officiant before the ceremony to make sure the mic was set up properly for him. Then at the reception she checked in with us and the wedding party about timing for grand entrance and speeches, and took care of it from there. She was great with the dance floor too, our friends were so happy she played their requests and so were we. She also brought the most excited and supportive energy to the whole day! We got so many compliments on her behalf from guests too and I’d hire her again in a heartbeat!

We had Andrea as our DJ through Bellagala and she was absolutely amazing -- she was kind and personable and really listened to our requests/input to create an awesome dancefloor experience. We were incredibly luck to have her!

The most common advice we received when we started planning our wedding is that a good DJ could make or break our night. With that in mind we were extremely nervous to book our DJ. Our DJ, Andrea B was fantastic in all areas of her job. She was extremely thorough in the pre wedding planning and was amazing at reading the vibe of the room during the reception. She also helped time our entrance at the ceremony to make sure everything was as well planned and professional looking. If you are looking for a DJ who can have fun while staying professional and keep the bride and groom at the front of their mind. I highly recommend Andrea!
