We used Billy Kumoro as our photographer through Bellagala. He did an absolutely incredible job. Our photos turned out amazing. I would highly recommend Billy to everyone. He took the time to make sure that he captured every great moment on our wedding day. He went above and beyond to make the day special for us. He even went out of his way to capture moments that would have been difficult to get. He was positive and upbeat and a pure joy to work with. We had great communication before our wedding day. We were able to meet with him twice, and he was prepared and professional. On our wedding day, he was super insightful and knew what he was doing. He had great ideas for posing and fun backgrounds for our photos. Whatever we needed, he was ready to go. He was so kind to all of our guests and was really interactive. The photos he did were stunning and he was prompt at getting them back to us. His work is stunning and elegant. Billy is an excellent photographer and we are so happy that we chose him to capture the special moments on our wedding day!

We had an unexpected last minute switch of photographers, and he immediately stepped in and gathered all the information and coordinated everything with us to make sure our day was captured beautifully and smoothly. Billy was responsive, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic about capturing our special day. On the day of the wedding, he brought such a calm and positive energy — exactly what you want when emotions are high and moments are flying by! His attention to detail was incredible, and he captured everything from the big moments to the small in-between glances that we’ll treasure forever. Our DJ, Daniel P., absolutely killed it—his music, production, and organization were top-tier. He is a true entertainer who kept the energy high all night! Our florist, Aneta S., had incredible attention to detail, bringing my vision to life perfectly. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous, and every floral arrangement was exactly how I pictured it. Less than a week before our wedding, our original photographer was no longer able to shoot, but Bellagala handled the situation seamlessly. Their communication was transparent and efficient, and they quickly provided a new photographer who exceeded our expectations. Billy was wonderful! Sam and I planned the wedding from out of town, Billy reached out to us early, and connected often to ease any worries. Despite not meeting prior to the day of the event we were immediately comfortable with him and his second photographer. The day was amazing, he struck the perfect balance between ensuring we received the photos that were important to us, and were able to be present with our guests during the day. I received the sneak peak two weeks later and couldn't be happier! Can not recommend highly enough!

Good Afternoon Billy, We just wanted to reach out to let you know you nailed the photography for our wedding! When we found out that the photographer we planned on using got sick the day before our wedding, we were a bit panicked. However, you called us and talked with us all day to plan out the photo details and make us confident we wouldn't have to worry. On the day of the wedding, you arrived early to get a good feel for the venue and meet with us to answer any final questions, which allowed us to focus on the rest of the wedding. When directing our wedding party, you were direct and clear to understand. Of course, the photos we received were phenomenal and captured all the special moments we hoped to save. We cant express how amazing the photos turned out. You went the extra mile to ensure you were prepared and turned a potential nightmare into a stress free event. We would happily recommend you to our friends and family.

Billy captured all of the great moments I really wanted him to capture! The poster pictures and the candid pictures were just amazing. He was great straight from the start. He was present for every moment, and got incredible shots, but never ever in the way of anything. The pictures were incredible! 10/10!

Billy is an amazing photographer. For our wedding, he helped to put family and friends at ease and provided succinct instructions. He captured shots in a variety of poses, backgrounds, and styles based on our taste. Some were sweet and romantic, others were silly and cute, and some were chic and stylish. Billy was personable and easy to work with. The pictures we received were amazing and we are thrilled with the whole experience.

It was a bit rocky at first with our first photography being flaky and non-responsive to messages. About 3 weeks before the wedding, we were informed that our original photographer is no longer available but they had another one on stand by who was an actual an upgrade. And boy, was he an upgrade! Billy was awesome! My husband and I are super shy with photos and don’t really know what to do but Billy directed us and still allowed us to be us. He also got awesome candid photos of everyone. Our pictures turned out AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend!

From our engagement session months earlier to the big day itself, Billy’s presence was a constant source of positivity and professionalism. He was incredibly attentive, always wearing a warm smile and making us feel completely at ease. His ability to listen to our wishes without ever being pushy was truly remarkable. Most importantly, the photos he captured were nothing short of stunning. We were blown away by his talent and his ability to capture our most cherished moments. This review may be more unusual than others you may read about this vendor. It's taken me a few weeks since my wedding to write this review, but after reflecting on the whole experience, I would still give them five stars. We picked Bellagala because we liked the idea that this was a photography company and not just an independent photographer. Bellagala has a policy that if your photographer gets sick or can't make it to your wedding for whatever reason, you will be guaranteed a replacement photographer. I liked the "insurance policy" since other photographers we talked to couldn't give us a contingency plan if something came up. The staff at Bellagala was very easy to work with and meet with. It was a very standardized process which I found helpful having never hired a wedding photographer before. They were easy to get in touch with via email and phone and were very helpful. I did find it odd that all payment was due even before our engagement pictures, but maybe that is standard. However, I would not recommend the photographer we chose (which ultimately was our mistake). She was pretty flaky and disorganized. I had to be the one to reach out to her to get our engagement pictures scheduled and it was a struggle to find a time that worked to review the wedding day timeline. Our engagement pictures were... fine. She had a great turnaround time with our pictures but we found it kind of difficult to take her direction during the photoshoot. Overall she was really nice but was always ill when we talked to her. This became a real problem when she called out sick two days before our wedding and we needed a replacement photographer (yay insurance policy!). When this happened, we were texted and emailed by Bellagala promptly and by then they had already assigned us a new photographer. You don't get a say in who they pick as the replacement, but we were so lucky to be assigned Billy K. They also sent us his gallery and we actually liked it better than our original photographer's. Billy was quick to get in contact with us and get up to speed on our wedding day plan. It was a surprisingly smooth process for how stressful it potentially could have been. We met Billy for the first time on our wedding day and he was awesome! He was very professional, knew what he was doing, and came very prepared. He worked his tail off running around and capturing every angle of the ceremony. We got all the photos we asked for which was no small feat and he gave directions that were easy to follow. He was enthusiastic and so much fun to work with. We couldn't be happier with the photos we received and there isn't a single thing he missed. If his quality of work is this high for a wedding he got thrown into last minute, I can't imagine how good his photos would be if he was our original hired photographer. The turnaround time for these photos were also super fast. We can't say enough good things about Billy! A few other things about Bellagala that I didn't know about/realize, but that might matter. 1) They don't edit photos. They can color correct, but can't photoshop anything. 2) Your online photo galleries are only active for a few months. Overall, Bellagala was easy to work with and Billy K gave us amazing wedding photos. Even with needing a replacement photographer, we would do it all over again.
